Does the Neural Analog VST audio processing run on my local computer? Do I need a GPU?

No. Neural Analog VST does not run its AI models on your computer, so you do not need a GPU. The plug-in is a web view and needs an internet connection. Its large AI models run in the cloud, where they can process audio faster.

Your computer is only used for file conversion and some audio effects. You can get the plug-in from the Neural Analog VST download page.

Is the Neural Analog VST free?

Yes. You can download and install Neural Analog VST for free. The Free plan lets you import your own audio, preview every model on a sample, and includes 6 minutes of demo GPU processing each month. Each demo can process up to 30 seconds of your audio.

Every plan can run every model. The input-duration limit is 30 seconds on Free, 5 minutes on Hobby, 30 minutes on Pro, and 2 hours on Max.

Paid plans include longer jobs, more processing minutes, batch tools, privacy controls, and long-term storage. They also help pay for GPU audio models, file storage, downloads, and background jobs. Compare the options on the Neural Analog pricing page.

Minimum system requirements for macOS

macOS 10.13 or later.
Apple Silicon Macs require macOS 11.0 or later.
Use a compatible 64-bit VST3 or Audio Unit host for plug-in use.
An internet connection is required for audio processing.

Use VST3 with DAWs that load VST3 plug-ins, such as Ableton Live, Cubase, Nuendo, Studio One, REAPER, Bitwig Studio, FL Studio, and Waveform.

Download the macOS VST3 zip, unzip it, copy Neural Analog.vst3 to ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3 for your user account, or /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3 for all users. Restart your DAW and rescan plug-ins if needed.

Note: In some DAW (like FL Studio) the .m4a default format is not supported. Click on the "gear" icon next to the Export button and select "FLAC" or "MP3" as the default streaming format.
