Hear real stem-to-MIDI transcriptions

Shared user songs transcribed with the Transcribe Stems to MIDI workflow. Switch between the source and each MIDI stem, then inspect and play the notes in the piano roll.

How to convert a full song to MIDI

1. Import your song

Upload an audio file or paste a supported song link.

2. Separate the instruments

The Transcribe Stems to MIDI pipeline splits bass, drums, vocals, and other instruments.

3. Preview and download MIDI

Inspect each part in the piano roll, hear it with a SoundFont, and download the MIDI stems.

Why transcribe each stem independently?

In a full mix, overlapping instruments can create extra or missing MIDI notes. Splitting the song first gives the transcription model a cleaner part to analyze.

The pipeline isolates bass, drums, vocals, and other instruments. MuScriptor uses focused instrument guidance for bass, drums, and vocals, while the other stem detects from its full instrument vocabulary.

Detect chords, not only melodies

MuScriptor can output simultaneous notes from chords and layered parts. It is not limited to following one pitch at a time.

Match the model to each stem

Instrument guidance limits each transcription to the sounds expected in the bass, drum, and vocal stems. The other stem uses MuScriptor's full mode to detect instruments automatically.

How does this compare with Basic Pitch and DAW conversion?

CriteriaNeural AnalogBasic PitchTypical DAW conversion
Chords Good Good Mode-dependent
Full mixed song Good Poor Limited
Automatic instrument separation Good No Usually manual
Separate instrument MIDI tracks Good No One mode at a time
Instrument-guided detection Focused + Auto No Mode-dependent

Every method can produce extra, missing, or mistimed notes on dense arrangements and unusual sounds. Review important parts in the piano roll before arranging them.

Amazing tool for audio. Clean, simple, and effective. I would spend hours in RX to get the same results. Give it a try. I can save you hours of production time.

I love the interface. I love the bulk upload/download features. They’re a life saver! Also I just realized that Apollo is magic and I don’t even need to use denoise. Apollo somehow removes noise much more naturally. So I’m actually spending way less credits than I expected.
