The best SoundFont depends on the instruments and style of the MIDI file. Open Settings to compare MuseScore General, GeneralUser GS, and TimGM6mb, then preview the MIDI before rendering. Changing the SoundFont changes the instrument sounds without changing the MIDI notes.
